Reuben's Franschhoek
From the moment our restaurant has opened its’ doors, we’ve been blessed by a
steady stream of accolades and awards. Thankful as we are for these, we still
prefer to keep things simple and let our food and service do the talking.
Like the cuisine, our restaurant exhibits a homely yet sophisticated atmosphere
where our guests can enjoy their meals in an unhurried setting. Apart from the
eclectic, regularly updated menu that lists a good number of Reuben’s favourites,
specials of the day are scribbled on three large chalk boards against the wall.
Like all of our meals, these specials are created to take advantage of the
freshest ingredients as they become available and dishes are created on the
inspiration of our chef.
The expansive wine list boasts a fine selection of wines, from the region and
elsewhere, to accompany the fine fare. Should you wish to have a few drinks
before or after your meal, the cocktail bar offers plush seating or space at the
bar where you can rest your drinks on the wing of a vintage cargo plane.
Reuben's To Go Deli
Situated right next door to our Franschhoek restaurant is our ever-popular
Reuben’s To Go. The deli offers the perfect intimate courtyard setting where
where healthy breakfasts and the finest confectionary, pastries and light meals
are served, crafted with the same passion and care as in the adjacent
restaurant. Our menu is available as either a sit down or takeaway option and
also offers a choice selection of cold meats, cheeses, rusks and preserves.
We’re open from XX:XX – XX:XX during summer and 09:00 – 16:00 during winter.

With an ever-changing menu created by patron chef Reuben Riffel, this restaurant
offers a unique dining experience in an ultra luxurious boutique setting in the

Situated in the luxurious One & Only resort in Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred
Waterfront, Reuben’s offers its’ unique take on distinctly South African
cuisine. Diners can look forward to a sumptuous selection of truly South African
classics updated with a modern sophisticated taste. Staff are often exchanged
between this restaurant and the mother kitchen in Franschhoek to allow for a
cross-pollination of skills and inspiration
